18 kt rose and white gold ring
with white diamonds and cognac.
The simplicity of this jewel represents the idea of bond and union, created by a fraction of a chain consisting of three rings. The chromatic contrast, in this case defined by two-tone diamonds, together with the shape, could arouse many interpretations and metaphors.
Sticking to the figure of the groumette, we want to recall one of the priceless sketches, of one of the most talented men and one of the greatest geniuses of humanity: Leonardo da Vinci.
He was one of the major artists of the Renaissance, a man destined to become a legendary genius, an unparalleled mind. Gifted with extraordinary intelligence, he was able to range in the anatomical, architectural, pictorial, botanical, philosophical, mathematical, engineering but above all inventive fields, concretizing his observations through incredible drawings and notes.
Leonardo was a tireless draftsman, producing a collection of notebooks and tables throughout his life, many of which are missing.
In one of these, in the Madrid Codex I, which includes 192 sheets and mainly collects mechanical studies, there is an illustrated diagram on the articulated chains, formed by links of different shapes, to which his project for the construction could be connected of a clock made between the years 1487 and 1505.
