The “Ballerina” parure is a set of ring and necklace inspired by the ancient techniques used in the construction of the stained glass windows of the Gothic cathedrals.

The masters of that period performed works of inestimable value, starting a new era of architecture, which used light to illuminate dark buildings, transforming them into shining temples.

Light, the principle of all beauty, qualified the abode of God.

Together with the color of the windows, light plays a priority role in creating highly suggestive plays of reflections and colors, capable of calming the visitor’s soul.

From this noble inspiration, jewels were born to evoke the technique of Gothic artists and put the attention on the delicacy of female beauty.

The ring and the necklace are made as a casket.

The front is made of a diamonds pavé with the representation of the dancer with the fan and entirely hand-enamelled.

This figure is placed on both sides of the dome. On the rear element, the mosaic that evokes the Gothic rose window, translucent and enamelled, was created with very bright colors that give the jewel, in addition to beauty, lightness and depth.

These jewels are on the whole true masterpieces of goldsmith art, combined with the decorative and architectural techniques of the time, for classy contemporary women, with a refined aesthetic sense.
